How MBU-1000 Works
MBU-1000 imitates the shape of the Nokia mobile phones, which accessorized with the original in car system. It will be recognized as the Nokia mobile phone while inserted into the cradle. Therefore, it fully intergrades with the steering wheel controls and radio keypads. Unlike the old Nokia phones, MBU-1000 is also a Bluetooth adapter that memorizes up to 3 recent paired mobile phones. User can only access his/her own phonebook profile. Moreover, radio system is muted when phone is being used and conversation will be conducted.
Changed oem radio in a BMW 3 Series e90 series, to a kenwood radio dnx7380 with garmin navigation , the steering controls for radio functions still work!!
