The Alpine SPS-M601W is a 16.5 cm 2-way marine coaxial speaker featuring a PEI balanced dome tweeter and Poly/Mica woofer cone. Santoprene surrounds and Centrex 813-coated grilles provide resistance to moisture, oil, heat, chemicals and UV exposure for marine environments.

Construction uses high-temperature, non-resonant ABS frames, hidden-screw grille design and a supplied waterproof rubber mounting gasket. Parts and speaker connections are saltwater corrosion resistant and the speaker includes magnetic shielding and design compatibility with PDX Marine amplifiers and infinite baffle open-air installations.
