The three-way elliptical coaxial CX 690 features a 6×9 inch SPP-M semi-pressed paper mica-enhanced cone, wide rubber suspension, high-density ferrite magnet with low-carbon polar plates, and a metallic basket with a rubber magnet cover.

It integrates a 40 mm dome tweeter and a 20 mm supertweeter with a FEM-optimized tweeter faceplate for linear off-axis response, includes an ABS grille with metal mesh, and is designed for horizontal car installations; connects to standard speaker wiring and mounts in 6×9 speaker openings.
