The Hertz Uno X170 6.7 inch two-way coaxial features a specially designed tweeter faceplate optimized for exceptional off-axis performance to maintain a linear frequency response in factory replacement installations. The pressed-paper cone is water-repellent treated and paired with a foam surround to deliver high SPL and extended low-frequency response even when driven by OEM head units.
The design uses a 25 mm pure copper woofer voice coil driven by a high-flux density ferrite magnet and a neodymium PEI dome tweeter for clear high frequencies. The DIN-size basket has an abrasion-resistant dust-painted finish for easier factory speaker replacement.
