The JBL Stadium 1224 is a 12 inch passive car subwoofer designed for high-output bass reproduction. It uses Selectable Smart Impedance SSI to allow 2 or 4 ohm operation, features an aero-cooling design and oversized voice coils to improve thermal performance and long term reliability.

This subwoofer is rated 500W RMS and 1500W peak with 92dB sensitivity and a 25Hz to 175Hz frequency response. It requires an external amplifier and a properly sized sealed or ported enclosure and should be matched to amplifier impedance for correct installation.
