The JL Audio C1-525X is a 5.25-inch coaxial speaker pair that combines a DMA-optimized motor system with a mineral-filled injection-molded polypropylene woofer cone, rubber surround and a flat Conex spider to deliver low distortion, high output and controlled motion. The system uses a stamped steel frame and tinsel lead routing for reliability and clean bass transient response. Sold as a pair; grilles not available.

The tweeter is a 0.75-inch edge-driven aluminum dome with a rubber surround, ferrofluid cooling and a neodymium magnet circuit for clear high-frequency reproduction. A true second-order high-pass crossover improves smoothness and power handling. Physical fitment uses a 4.70 in 119 mm mounting hole diameter and 2.42 in 62 mm mounting depth for installation behind many factory grilles.
