The Kicker DS Series 3.5 inch coaxial speaker is a factory upgrade designed for door locations. It uses a stamped steel frame, a rigid polypropylene cone, a ribbed UV-treated foam surround, and EVC extended voice coil technology to improve midrange accuracy and handling. The zero protrusion PEI tweeter provides clearer high frequencies without interfering with factory grilles.
These speakers are intended as drop-in replacements for many 3.5 inch factory openings and work best with small amplifiers or head units supplying about 20 watts RMS per speaker.
