The Hertz HCP-1D is a mono Class D car audio amplifier built for compact installations. It includes a bypassable crossover section with Lo-Pass, Hi-Pass and Band-Pass options plus filtered pre-amplified outputs and Hi-Pass preamp outputs to enable front woofer band-pass configurations.

The amp uses a refined extruded aluminum heatsink with side convection cooling and features balanced input circuitry, a robust power supply stage with multiple winding transformer and Low-ESR 105C capacitors. It supports speaker-level and preamp inputs, offers ART automatic Remote Turn-On via Speaker-In and is compatible with the HRC remote control accessory for remote subwoofer level adjustment.
