The Alpine R-W12D4 is a 12-inch passive car subwoofer engineered for high-output low-frequency reproduction. It supports 750W RMS and 2250W peak power per woofer with a recommended amplifier power range of 500W to 750W RMS.
The driver features a parabolic pulp/Kevlar cone with a PP/Mica/Talc dust cap, High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) surround, a 127 oz magnet and a 65.5mm voice coil. Recommended sealed box net internal volume is 0.55-1.0 cu ft and recommended ported box net internal volume is 1.0-1.5 cu ft. The model uses dual 4-ohm voice coils for flexible wiring and requires an external amplifier and properly sized enclosure.
