This is a 6 mm insulation material designed as the second layer of an electric vehicle sound-treatment install. It is applied over a first vibration-damping layer and is intended for EV roofs, doors, boots, floors and wheel arches. The manufacturer states that its lightweight, low-density structure does not rely on conventional foam for insulation.
The sheet uses a reinforced mastic adhesive layer. Apply it only to clean, dry surfaces: wash with water and a neutral detergent, degrease with a suitable solvent and allow to dry fully. Press the sheet from the centre outwards to avoid trapped air, then roll it firmly. The recommended application temperature is +18 to +35 °C.
