The Focal ES165KX2 is a two-way component speaker kit featuring two 165 mm (6.5 inch) woofers with Kevlar cones and a phase plug for improved dispersion. The kit includes M-shaped aramid-fibre inverted-dome tweeters engineered for controlled high-frequency response.
Crossovers are configured for bi-amplified operation to allow separate amplification of low and high frequencies. The set is supplied with aluminium and mesh grilles and is intended for component installations where separate woofer and tweeter placement is required. The model received the CES Innovation 2016 award.
