The woofer features a Butyl surround and central phase plug for controlled dispersion while the tweeter uses a Poron suspension for longevity. The FLAX cone design is patented under N1350116.
The kit is supplied with a bi-amp crossover for component wiring and is intended for vehicles using 6.5 inch (16.5 cm) woofer openings. Tweeters mount separately and require standard component speaker installation and wiring to the crossover.
