The RCM-BMW-MGU is an integrated rear view camera module designed for BMW vehicles equipped with the MGU ID7 infotainment platform. It enables the display of a reverse camera directly on the factory BMW screen for a seamless OEM-style installation.
The module connects via a plug-and-play interface and integrates with the vehicle’s original infotainment system without replacing the factory display. Most applications retain OEM parking sensor visualisation while adding flexible parking guidelines for improved parking assistance. An additional front camera input is also included for expanded visibility. The vehicle-specific reverse camera is not included and must be purchased separately.
