It improves speaker reliability and power handling for tweeters and midrange drivers by filtering frequencies the speakers cannot reproduce safely.
The unit is encased in heat-shrink tubing and uses green color-coded wire leads for straightforward inline installation. It filters 0-600Hz at 4 ohms and 0-300Hz at 8 ohms and is rated to handle up to 50 watts of power.
