The CAM-VW12-AD is a camera add-on interface that allows fitting an aftermarket camera while retaining the factory head unit on selected Audi Porsche Skoda and Volkswagen models with MIB platforms. It integrates with MMI Navigation Plus, Porsche P4.0, Skoda Amundsen and VW MIB, MIB2 Discovery Pro and Composition Media systems.
The interface supports automatic display of the camera image when the vehicle is placed in reverse and also allows manual selection through the vehicle controls. It is designed to preserve the factory camera input where present and provides a single-channel solution for connecting an aftermarket camera to the OEM system.
