The Connects2 CSS12 is a 12 amp power lead noise filter designed to eliminate audio interference on the power leads of car radios, CB radios and equalizers. It reduces noise that can enter audio systems via the power supply.
The unit uses a toroidal choke and capacitor to suppress wide frequency audio noise. It installs inline on the device power lead, is rated for up to 12 amps and is intended for use with 12 V vehicle electrical systems and compatible aftermarket audio devices drawing 12 A or less.
