The Connects2 steering wheel control interface allows retention of factory steering wheel controls when fitting an aftermarket head unit in compatible Audi A1 and Q3 vehicles. It connects via the vehicle Quadlock Fakra harness and supports selection of an aftermarket head unit connection lead to match the chosen head unit. Voice assistant support is available via a software update using part number SWCREFLASHER. This interface is not compatible with vehicles that have a multimedia screen mounted on top of the dash.

Fitment covers Audi A1 8X 2010-2018 and Audi Q3 8U 2011-2018 non-navigation models. The interface maintains original displays such as date time and temperature and supports pick up and hang up phone buttons in Bluetooth mode for selected head unit brands including Alpine Clarion Kenwood Pioneer and Zenec. Installation is plug-and-play with no cutting of vehicle wiring required.
