The Connects2 CTVBMX001 is an auxiliary input adapter cable that connects external audio sources to BMW Business headunits via the CD changer port. It provides 3.5mm headphone and RCA socket inputs for portable players and smartphones.
Installation is plug-and-play with no cutting of factory wiring required; it plugs into the 3 and 6 pin plugs on the CD changer cable. Fits BMW 3-Series E46 (1998-2005), 5-Series E39 (1996-2004), 7-Series E38 (1994-2001) and Mini pre CAN-Bus vehicles (2001-2006) that use the BMW Business headunit and CD changer connection described.
