The HELIX AAC.3 is a high-low converter that generates high-quality RCA preamplifier outputs from speaker-level signals to allow connection of aftermarket amplifiers to factory radios, including those with integrated amplifiers. It uses Audiotec Fischers ADEP.3 circuit to bypass speaker diagnostic systems and prevent error messages or distorted sound while reducing the radio amps current draw.

The unit features a Double Activation Circuit for generating a +12 V remote turn-on from DC offset or switchable signal detection, a Power Save Mode that disables remote output after two minutes of no signal, and a wide frequency response of 18 Hz to 80,000 Hz for high-resolution audio reproduction. Connections include sealed gold-plated RCA outputs and durable speaker-level inputs in a compact housing suitable for installation in most vehicles.
