The HELIX IK S8 is an 8 inch shallow subwoofer chassis engineered for compact enclosures while delivering low-frequency performance comparable to larger woofers. Its extremely low installation depth enables flat and space-saving enclosure designs without acoustic compromise.

Built with a stiff sandwich paper cone, long-excursion rubber surround and a heavy-duty drive system with large voice coils, the IK S8 converts amplifier power into controlled bass. The magnet assembly includes a threaded hole for securing the woofer to an enclosure back panel. Available in single voice coil 2 Ohm or dual voice coil 2×2 Ohm variants, the unit ships with a gold-plated connection terminal, protective grille and gasket; detailed enclosure and tuning recommendations are provided in the technical data sheet.
