This plug-and-play solution enables wireless smartphone connectivity, allowing you to access navigation, music, calls, and messaging directly from your existing screen.
The system mirrors your smartphone interface onto the factory display while maintaining full control via the vehicle’s original buttons and steering wheel controls. Use apps such as Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze, Spotify, and Apple Music, or manage calls and messages using Siri or Google Assistant for a safer, hands-free driving experience.
Audio is routed through the vehicle’s AUX or OEM Bluetooth system, ensuring clear and reliable sound output. The module also includes a rear camera input, allowing you to add a reverse camera to your vehicle if not already equipped.

Note: The factory screen resolution remains unchanged as the system uses the original display.
Please note that the factory CDR31 display was designed long before Apple CarPlay was introduced. As a result, the original OEM screen resolution is significantly lower than that of modern vehicle displays.

Modern Apple CarPlay is designed for much higher-resolution widescreen displays. When CarPlay is integrated with the original CDR31 screen, the interface therefore needs to be significantly scaled down to match the older display format.
Most CDR31 CarPlay retrofit systems use technologies such as LVDS converters, RGB video adapters or analogue video injection modules. The CarPlay module generates a modern digital image, but this image must then be converted and scaled to suit the original factory screen.
This may result in reduced image sharpness, icon clarity and text crispness compared with CarPlay displayed on a modern high-resolution screen.
This is a limitation of the original OEM display hardware and should not be considered a fault with the CarPlay integration module.
