The Sony RC-SR1 is a steering wheel remote input adapter that retains factory steering wheel audio controls after replacing the factory radio with a compatible Sony aftermarket head unit. It provides a direct interface between the vehicle steering wheel controls and the Sony receiver to preserve volume, track, and mode control.

The RC-SR1 uses a rear 3.5mm SWC connector on compatible Sony head units and is designed to connect to vehicle-specific steering control interfaces such as Axxess, PAC, and Connects2. The cable has labelled wires for straightforward installation and a 20cm cable length for routing behind the dash.
