The RoadKill Expert RKXTK kit is a 20 square‑foot trunk sound‑proofing solution built for improving in‑car audio performance. Each kit includes ten 12×24‑inch panels of lightweight, self‑adhesive damping material with an aluminium outer layer, specially designed to kill panel resonance, squeaks, rattles, and distortion caused by vibrations.
Installation is straightforward: peel off the backing, stick onto metal surfaces like trunk lid, floor, firewall or doors, then press firmly for solid adhesion. Despite its lightweight build, this material offers one of the best damping‑vs‑weight ratios available—boosting bass clarity and reducing unwanted noise without adding bulk.
Note: Measure available flat panel area to ensure full coverage; curvature may reduce effective adhesion.
