This MMI interface adds wired and wireless Apple CarPlay plus Android Auto to compatible BMW and MINI vehicles with CIC, NBT ID4 or EVO ID5/ID6 infotainment. It uses the original vehicle display and supports compatible navigation, music, calls, messaging and voice-assistant applications.
Full control is available through compatible original vehicle buttons and the iDrive controller. The plug-and-play interface also provides USB media playback, adjustable equaliser settings, wired and wireless phone mirroring, and HDMI input for a compatible external source.
Compatible aftermarket front, rear and 360-degree cameras can be connected, with support for dynamic guidance lines where available. The correct CIC, NBT or EVO variant must be selected to match the vehicle.
