This Connects2 fascia plate converts the factory aperture to accept an aftermarket double DIN head unit in BMW 1-Series E81 E82 E87 E88 models produced 2007 to 2013. It is designed for vehicles fitted with manual air conditioning and without factory navigation or iDrive.

The kit includes the fascia plate and where required supplied brackets or a cage to secure the head unit. Connection details are vehicle dependent and the product provides a physical mounting interface; additional wiring adapters or CAN interfaces may be required for retained vehicle functions.
