Amplifier bypass lead for Land Rover Discovery and Range Rover Sport with the standard Harman Kardon fibre-optic system, used when fitting an aftermarket head unit.

The CT51-LR01 bypasses the factory fibre-optic Harman Kardon amplifier when an aftermarket head unit is installed in a listed Land Rover Discovery or Range Rover Sport. It is only compatible with the standard Harman Kardon amplifier; vehicles with the Harman Kardon LOGIC7 system are not compatible.
The green and grey connectors plug into the factory amplifier under the driver seat on the right-hand side, and the brown and black ISO connectors connect to the aftermarket head unit. Flying pink and blue wires can retain the original subwoofers and tweeters, but an additional amplifier and crossovers are then required.

Locate the factory amplifier under the driver seat on the right-hand side, disconnect its green and grey connectors and connect the green and grey connectors of the CT51-LR01 to the amplifier. Route the cable to the dashboard and connect the brown and black ISO connectors to the aftermarket head unit.
Connect the red wire to an ignition power supply; the guide recommends power from the cigarette lighter or a fuse box feed. The pink and blue flying wires can retain the original subwoofers and tweeters, which requires an additional amplifier and crossovers.
