The ZDT-BMW1 is an active T-harness for BMW vehicles from 2005 to 2019 with the Basic Sound System and a Quadlock radio connector. It separates the front door speakers from the under-seat woofers, so each can run on its own amplifier channel in an active setup.
With a Phoenix Gold ZDA DSP or ZXM amplifier, frequency filters can be set so each speaker plays only its intended range. The harness connects behind the head unit and at both front seats, and pairs with a ZDC-ISO or ZDC-ISOX harness for power, signal and speaker connections.

Disconnect the factory plugs from the under-seat woofers, route the 4-pin connectors to each front seat and connect them to the woofers, then attach the black 4-pin loop connector to the factory woofer harness. Finish by connecting a Phoenix Gold ZDA DSP or ZXM amplifier.
